Dominance was the last piece Gabriela created before graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. It was a step out from her other work. An experiment of expressive mark-making, movement, and color.

During this time she was fascinated by the dynamic between her two canines. They had recently adopted Fable (the black and white dog.) The two dogs developed a relationship and understanding through friendly sparing. A practice widely seen in the animal world. Sizing each other up while also practicing restraint and submission.

Dominance would fit wonderfully as a dramatic and contemporary focal point in your space.
